The delicate and graceful orchid has been coveted by mankind as a symbol of love for many centuries. Lovers of this ornamental plant and other tropical delights will enjoy a chance to marvel at their beauty during the Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital's Orchid & Plant Festival on February 22nd and 23rd, 2025 from 9:30 am until 4:00 pm. Admission is $8 at the gate. $6 when you purchase by February 21at. Kids 8 and under are FREE. No pets allowed. All proceeds will benefit the Sawgrass Nature Center and Wildlife Hospital which provides environmental education programs focused on South Florida’s unique, fragile Everglades and its many resident species. The wildlife hospital also provides expert rehabilitative care to over 1400 injured and orphaned native wildlife annually at no cost to the public.
